We train people for careers that matter. Aged care. Disability support. Leaisure & Health. Business. Real qualifications for real jobs.
How We Work
Our IMPACT values guide everything we do.
Inspiration
We help you understand why, not just what. Good training builds confidence to think for yourself.
Meaningful Connections
Real relationships with trainers and employers. That's what turns a certificate into a career.
Pride
The real kind. From doing hard work, finishing what you started, and knowing you earned it.
Accessible Education
Flexible delivery. Payment plans. Trainers who actually help. We remove barriers where we can.
Collaboration
We work with employers and industry. Training should connect to the real world.
Thoughtful
We design training thoughtfully, recognising different learning styles and real-life circumstances. Learning should be achievable, not overwhelming.
What That Looks Like
Training grounded in real work
Our trainers have done the jobs they teach. Aged care. Hospitality. Disability support. They know what actually matters on the floor.
Designed for real life
Online, workplace, or blended. We fit around your circumstances because we know you have them.
Support without hand-holding
We're small enough to know your name and responsive enough to actually help. We want you to finish.
Meet Andrew
Founder, Industry Currency
I'm Andrew, the founder of Industry Currency.
I started the business in March 2016, originally to help trainers stay current with their industry requirements. It grew from there.
Before that, I worked in the industries we now train for. Hospitality shaped me over many years. I've also worked in aged care, disability support under the NDIS, and retail. I've done the work, not just taught it, and that experience matters when it comes to designing training that reflects real workplaces.
I've sat through enough bad training to know what good training looks like. However, training only works when it’s designed with real people in mind.
I later moved into training and assessment, and then into governance and leadership roles across different RTOs. This meant spending time on the regulatory side of vocational education, as well as in classrooms and workplaces. I've sat in audits, worked through complex requirements, and learned where the rules genuinely protect students, and where they can make learning harder if applied poorly.
I've also spent time with thousands of students from very different backgrounds. People changing careers. People returning to study after a long break. People juggling work, caring responsibilities, or trying to find their footing. You quickly learn that no two students come to training with the same circumstances or support needs.
That experience is why Industry Currency operates the way it does. We keep systems solid and compliant in the background, but we design training to be practical, clear, and manageable. Learning should feel challenging in the right ways, not confusing or overwhelming.
If you're considering studying with us and you're unsure, you're welcome to reach out. I still read emails, and I still care about how people experience their training.
