Reduce the time it takes to get qualified
What is Recognition of Prior Learning
Do you have experience that you want to put towards a Nationally Recognised Qualification? Undertaking study can be exciting but also very daunting. You don't know where to begin, or if the qualification you want is even right for you. You might also have experience that can be counted towards a qualificaiton.
Recognition of Prior Learning is a process undertaken by registered Training Organisations (RTOs) to assess an individual's skills, experience, and previous qualfiications. This process allows students to use their current life and work experiences, whether it be in Australia or overseas, and put this towards units of competency which make up a nationally recognised qualification. This in turn shortens the time taken to compete your qualficiation.
HOW DOES OUR RPL PROCESS WORK?
CHAT WITH AN INDUSTRY EXPERT
Chat to one of our industry experts about your goals, aspirations and experience. They will align these to the most suitable qualification.
You will be required to complete a skills assessment. This will consist of answering a series of questions, written and verbal, aligned to different units of competency.
Once you have completed your skills assessment, you will be asked to collect various forms of evidence that will go towards creating a portfolio which will be used to help you gain your qualification. If you don't have enough evidence we will gap-train you at no cost.
Once your evidence has been assessed and you meet the qualification criteria, you will be required to pay your fees in full to gain your Nationally Recognised Qualification. The qualification you receive will be the same one you would have received if you had chosen to study instead.
Not sure if studying is right for you or maybe you are thinking about RPL? Book in a complementary career discovery session and talk through your options with an Industry Expert.
